Hugh Baird College celebrates Colleges Week 2026

Hugh Baird College is proudly supporting Colleges Week 2026, running from 2–6 March, alongside the national #LoveOurColleges campaign and Careers Week.
Colleges Week is a UK-wide celebration of the vital role further education plays in transforming lives, strengthening communities and creating new opportunities.
For Hugh Baird College, it is also an opportunity to showcase the pathways available, from full-time courses and apprenticeships to adult learning and higher education.

Rachael Hennigan, Principal of Hugh Baird College, said:
“Colleges Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our students, staff and the positive impact further education has in our community.
‘At Hugh Baird College, we are committed to helping learners of all ages build skills, confidence and ambition for their future.”
She added:
“Throughout the week, we’ll be showcasing the achievements of our students and sharing how the College supports progression into university, employment and apprenticeships.
‘We’re proud to be part of this national celebration.”
Across the week, the college will share student stories, staff insights and subject highlights aligned to daily themes set by the Association of Colleges.
